Some doctor's don't want you to fly past your 5 month mark and deffinately not in the 8th month on because the high altitude can cause your water to break and you can go into labor

I just checked with my doctor on this because I have to fly at the end of June and she said it is perfectly fine to fly in your first three months. She said just to make sure to drink plenty of water because you can get dehydrated. Also, unless you have a clotting disorder or are high-risk, you can fly after 5 months. I think most airlines won't let you fly after 34 weeks or something like that. If you are on a long flight, you should get up and move around frequently but you should do the same thing if you have a desk job and sit all day.

I flew at 19 weeks. I'd recommend to anyone pregnant and flying to have plenty snacks and keep hydrated.

There are several reasons why some people do not encourage flying while pregnant.
-Flying or even vacationing at high altitudes or in a non pressurized plane can cause the oxygen levels in your blood to decrease at altitude and affect the fetus.
Some airlines impose some form of restriction to pregnant travelers starting between the 34th to 38th week for ovbious reasons.
If you don't have any specific health issues I wouldn't be too concerened about flying. Most planes have pressurized cabins anyways which keep the oxygen levels safe.
