since i am using birth control (the nuvaring), can it affect the outcome of an at-home pregnancy test? i have been having a few symptoms that make me think that i might be pregnant such as
1)my stomach is getting firmer.
2)my breasts are getting bigger, a little firmer, and are hurting.
3)i have been feeling nausea almost all day.
4)i am having to urinate more frequently.
i have only had sex while on the birth control. and when i got my period a little over a month ago, it was very light.

any insight that you may have is helpful.

The thing is that these could be pms symptoms as well....

Because it's been about a month, I think you could test and get an accurate result.

Those are PMS symptoms, but women tend to not obsess over them when are thye are not sexually active, so they seem minor.

BC lightens periods, and makes them shorter, so that is not unusual.

You could take a test now, if you wanted.
