Our ten month old son was born with ptosis in both eyes, his bottom lids also overlap at the tear ducts.
His eyesight however is fine, and is monitered every three months.
Are there any new developements,in the treatement of this disorder apart from what they call "pre-school" surgery, and if not where is the best place to go(in the world) for surgery?

Infant with Ptosis
Our son was also born with bilateral ptosis. He is now 4 months and we were advised to have the surgery before the age of two to avoid a malformation of the head and neck muscles due to is compensating head tilt. An oculoplastic surgeon (who is in contact with a pediatric ophthalmologist) is the best person for the surgery
