I've got a question for you all. I was talkin to my friend who thinks she might be preggy and we got chatin about stuff and she said that if someone was ever raped and got preggy as a result should they keep the baby or abort it? I said I would keep it and if I really didn't want it I would adopt it but she said she would abort it staight away and if ahe couldn't for some reason she would kill herself. I was just wondering wat you guys thought because to me that was just a little extreme. Like its not the baby's fault but she said that she would always hate it becuase it would remind her of the person that raped her. Em i'm just thinking I hope this dpesn't upset anyone its just a question and if it does i'm really sorry I don't mean it to offend anyone Rolling Eyes

Well personally just because someone hurt you it doesn't give you the right to hurt others. Now I understand if someone aborts a baby in these circumstances, but look at danielle! She was a part of date rape and she is keepin her baby! I think this is only acception to me being anti-abortion and still I wouldn't have it done in this situation either. I would keep it.

As a rap victim, I dont know what I would do. I dont agree with killing anyone, but I dont know what I would do. I can tell you that I woudl never kill myself or anyone though.

As a rape victim I totally agree with your friend...If I did get pregnant with the persons baby I would get rid of it.

If I couldn't I would have it but give it up for abortion.

I couldn't have it and look at it every day. As all I would do is remember is what happened that night.

Its hard enough to trust and move on with out something like that looking you in the face every day.

i also was raped by my brother and i wouldnt be too sure what id do because this baby would be my niece or nephew aswell as my son or daughter and also it could be damaged somehow soooo

No, actually, you didn't mention that at all. But the advice remains the same. If you are raped - ever - you need to contact authorities.

well i was raped i had the baby and i did adoption. it worked out ok for me.

gurr1 i had no idea you were raped.. or maybe i did and i forgot, but wow thats pretty heavy. Im glad you had the courage to give trey a second chance at life regardless of circumstances. you are stronger at thirteen than i could ever hope to be.

yeha me neither. but yeah i was and did adoption and thinks worked out ok so id suggest adoption. idk bout any one else but thats just me.
