My Partner and I started trying for a baby quite young (20) and after a year I was worried that we had not concieved. Just as I was about to go to my Gp I fell pregnant and miscarried at 5 weeks. this was two years ago and still i have not had another pregnancy since.

I have been to my Gp who referred me to a gynacologist who ran 2 tests in one year and told me i was healthy!

I am constantly told that as i became pregnant once then there is nothing wrong but i feel no one is listening! I fell pregnant after a year of trying and have been trying for 2 years since! im also told its ok because " I have time on my side" and always fobbed off or put on the bottom of waiting lists!

It been nearly three years now and i haven only just been referred to another Gynacologist! as the last one has ruined the last few years for me! Ive had a laproscopy, chromosome analysis, scans blood tests, and every thing always sais im fine!

My periods are 26 days to the day, i can even calculate to the hour approx that my period will come! I have period after period and never a positive pregnancy test!

My partner already has a son from a previous relationship I know that it could be him but i think it is more about a problem with me!

i beginning to wish I did have a problem just so that I can know what the problem is and can get some help!

does anyone have the same problem?

I am sorry for I know how hard ttc ca be, specially for 3 yrs and a m/c.

you do have age on your side and your tests came out normal so that is all good news. However the fact that no one is helping you sucks. I have been ttc for 3 yrs as well, and had 2 m/c, and had a really bad experience with 2 gyno's that didn't take things serious and gave it no urgency. I am however 35 and that already can be a problem. I am now seeing an infertility specialist, and I think you should take the same route. Even though your husband already has a son, you should have his sperm examined, because things can change.
Good luck and keep me posted

Both parties need to be tested in this case. It could very well be your husband.

Try going to a fertility specialist instead of just a gynecologist. There is a difference. You need to know, regardless of your age.

Until then, though, get a book on temperature charting and chart your cycles. you said they are 26 days consistently - so that is great! It will be easier to pinpoint your fertile times. Get a thermometer and go for it.

Good luck!!
