Alyvia has a viral infection. She has two ulcers in the back of her throat. The doctor said it wasn't a
direct result of teething, but because she
is teething, she's sticking her fingers in her mouth and got the infection.
I have to give her a combination of children's tylenol (she said infant's is too strong... does that sound right to anyone?

), children's benadryl, and mylanta. I mix a teaspoon of each together and give her half a teaspoon every 6-8 hours. Apparently the tylenol is for fever, the benadryl is for her other symptoms, and the mylanta is for her poor throat so she doesn't stop eating and drinking.
If she's still running a fever by .friday, I have to bring her back in.
My poor baby girl!
oh, and for the record: her bottom right tooth has completely broken the surface, and her bottom left tooth is starting to push through a little bit too. So she's working on 2 at once.
