I just recently had an appendectomy a couple weeks ago via open surgery. He started laporascopic with a cam but Was full of fluid so he went to open. He removed the appendix, cleared the fluid build up, noticed I had adhesions in my small intestines, and a couple cysts on my ovaries.
After removal of the appendix the pain is gone and I feel back to normal. However, it has been a couple weeks and my upper abdoman and the general area is starting to have a dull pain. I have another appointment check up in a week. Is it just recovery related or are there some post op complications that would include dull abdominal pain.

could be either or, your body has to readjust to the missing organ so it can cause random pain because your bodies confused, could also be scar tissue . It can be a number of things , def let your dr know at your checkup appt, they may run some more tests etc to make sure all is fine, if u get a fever with any of the pain id go to the ER as it could be a sign of an infection.
