I'm so confused. I quit my birth control b/c i ran out of my prescription and couldn't get it refilled soon.. well, I missed first 4 active pills of my new pack and had unprotected sex on sunday 22. (fourth pill) so i decided to wait till the next cycle incase i may have gotton pregnant. Usually when I skip pills I have breakthrough bleeding. And I haven't had anything?! Whats wrong?

A lot of things could be happening. You could be pregnant. or, your body could just be reeling from the stopping and starting and then stopping again of birth control. I would wait aout 28 days from when you stopped the 4 pills that you took.

You should have taken PLAN B.

You can start birth control ANYTIME you wish, but you must wait 7 full days for it to be effective.

You could be pregnant, especially becaus eyou can ovulate soo soon after missing a new package.

Maybe you didn't have any breakthrough bleeding because you just had your period??

True, you could be pregnant. Or not. I would suggest just waiting and finding out. You don't sound like it would be the end of your life, because you stopped taking the pills when you thought you might be pregnant. I'm guessing that's because of the strange warning on the package... "Do not take if you are pregnant or might be pregnant" Why not? Does anyone know? I thought b/c pills weren't harmful to a baby if you are pregnant. If they aren't, I would suggest starting to take them again right away.
