I get this fairly regularly. There's a little gland under there that puffs out and it hurts. I asked my dr and he said that it fights infection but didn't seem too concerned about it. There's more to it I think and it hurts !

Can anyone help ? Other than what he has told me, this ENT dr, I don't know anything else. I want to try to relieve the pain and find out more what it could be.

I'm in otherwise excellent health and take my vitamins and supplements daily.

Help please ?
