I just had a tooth extracted (ouch) and was given 500mg amox to take 3x a day. I never remember how that breaks down. Do I just take 3 times a day while I am awake or do I really have to break it down all though a 24 hour period (including during the night)?

Thanks for any answers Very Happy

Hi
So sorry I just found your post, but gonna answer anyway. Depending on when you had the extraction, I would take the amox. @ breakfast (8AM) another dose at 2pm and another at 7pm. That kinda evens out the doses and get this into your system more evenly. Does that make sense. You are probably over this by now. Hope you are better! Cool
