Q: Why Can I See My Heart Beating??

Even when I have a calm heart rate, I can visibly see the beats when I look at my chest. When my heart rate is up I can see it move my clothing and my hair. I never see my pulse anywhere else, even when my heart rate is up.

I've researched several websites which all leads back to Palpitations, Cardiomyopathy or Tachycardia, but I don't have any other symptoms they list. No shortness of breath, no tightness, no other problems or pain, and unless I'm physically working and my heart rate has a reason to go up, it's calm and normal all the time with no complications, fluttering, stopping.. anything.

I'm not worried about it because I've noticed having it since I was a child and never had any health problems to speak of, especially not relating to the heart. I just always assumed I had a bigger heart than normal? haha
