Cystic Hygroma...

i'm new here and just need someone to talk to. I lost my baby on November 7, 2007 to cystic hygroma. I was only 14 weeks but it was still so hard to go through. The doctor said it was one of the worst cases she had ever seen. It was as big as the baby. There was no chance of survival. That pregnancy was planned. My fiance and I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter and we are getting married on May 25, I am so excited! We want to try to get pregnant right away but I am so nervous. The specialist did say that there was a chance it could happen again. I don't know what to do...

I am sorry to hear that I too have just found out at 12 weeks that my baby has an extreme case of Cystic Hygroma. I had a CVS done and awaiting the results but in the mean time all the professionals are telling me to book in for a termination which is next week at 13.5 weeks. They said there is a 70% chance of the baby have a chromossomal problem and that it would probably die very soon anyhow.
My OB said the chances of this happening again are very very slim.

Cystic Hygroma
Hi there we were told at 12 weeks our baby had an extreme case of cystic hygroma and that the bub would die soon so we did a CVS but decided to terminate before the results came back. The results showed she was a girl(very longed for after three boys)and that she had Down Syndrome too...We will try again we used the Dr Shettles method to coceive her.

Update my CVS results came back with it being a girl (very longed for after 3 beautiful boys) and that she also had Down Syndrome. Its really sad but we will try Dr Shettles Method again to conceive another girl
