Sad hi, I've had this pain for months now, everytime i go to the ER they do tests give me pain medication and send me home. All they found was low
hemoglobin, which i knew i had due to heavy periods. My symptons are lower right pain in my right side ,nausea, chills at times, it affects my leg, don't know if i should be standing, sitting or lying down. It is worse at
times at night and sometimes goes to my back. It is a constant pain there and if i touch it ,it's worse. SICK OF THIS, HELP

Please give me some indication of what it is and what i should do(i am 39)

What tests are given to you at the ER? I have the same type of pain and its going on 4 months. Although my pain isn't severe, its just bothersome....sometimes I can feel it other times its gone during the day.

When I went to the ER they only did blood work on me to check for infection, and check my kidneys, pancreas, and liver. They gave me nothing and sent me home to follow up with my Dr.

My Dr sent me for a colonoscopy, sonogram and CTscan. All of these tests were normal and healthy. The CTscan showed that my appendix was also normal size and completely healthy.

My Dr said I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Another girl I know is having the same symptoms as you and her pain is bad like yours. Her sonogram showed her appendix to be a little thick but her Dr said its still ok, they are testing her for Celiac Disease (when your body cannot absorb nutrients) this is due to her rapid weight loss.

Hope this helps you a little.
