Okay, well...I ran out of my prescription of Ortho Tyicyclen Lo on a wednesday. So the next day (thursday) was the start of my new pack. Well, I didn't have any. Thursday,Friday,Saturday, and Sunday (forth, till now) I"ve not had any pills. They were the first white active pills. I had unprotected sex once on that sunday. I decided I should quit the rest of the pack until my next period and just be more careful. Whats the chances that I could possibly be pregnant? I'm iffy on this, because when people quit the pill it generally takes months for them to get pregnant, but then again< I've heard of people getting pregnant from missing one pill. So Was it in my system? I dunno, I'm just stressed. I've had a few preg. symptoms, such as backaches, mild nausea, and I had a lightheaded faint-like spell. I've also been a little sleepier, and I've had cramps. My lower stomache area feels "full" i guess. Bloated? My period is due in like two weeks. I would appreciate ANY advice. My last pregnancy I noticed a change in my body at the end of the week, I knew I was pregnant before I even tested, I somewhat feel this way now, but the symptoms are not near as drastic as before. Thanks for any advice.

I'm a little confused as to when you started the new pack? The thing is, you did have 4 days off the pill on top of the whole week you were on the placebo pills and also not getting any horomones.

Yes, like you've said, it is difficult to tell. I can't really say. The best thing you can do is wait for a period, and if it doesn't come in a few weeks - I'd give it 4 weeks from when you had sex, or until you have a late period - then test.

If you are talking about just this past Sunday that you had sex, then it would be kind of early for you to be experiencing pregnancy symptoms at this point.

Like eiri said, we can't really give you exact percentages or anything. It depends on a number of things. It does sound like you put yourself at risk of getting pregnant, we just can't tell you by exactly how much.

I was suppose to start my new pack of pills on the 19th ( thursday ) . But my prescription ran out. So on Thursday 19, Friday 20th, Saturday 21, and Sunday the 22nd, I skipped. On that sunday (22nd). I had unprotected sex. My last pregnancy I swear, I did have backaches about a week following. It does seem early, thats why i'm worried. But, I guess I will just wait and see. It's killing me to wait though...My period is due sometime around May 8th. I probably will take a test next wednesday, just because it's killing me. Even though I know the results will probably be a negative. I took my test 5 days early before my period was due last preg. and I got the results. Who knows, maybe I'll get them even sooner. Welp, thanks for the advice guys.

You should not have had sex after missing those pills, it puts you at risk.

You also should have taken PLAN B, which prevents pregnancy.

Yes, you were some risk.
