I've had a cold for about a week and then a sore swollen throat, enlarged lymph nodes developed (i got mono but the docs thought infection) . No rash. I was given amoxicillan and i didnt get better after three days so i went to the docs and got steroids(for throat swelling) and percosats(for pain) after missing a week of school i was feelingperfectly fine, just a little drowsy, until i woke up this morning with a bumpy red rash all over my body. It's really bad on my face,ears and neck and pretty thick on my chest. It gets less and less the farther down on my body and htere is only maybe ten spread out spots on my legs. I havent taken the amoxicillan in almost a week so is it still normal to get the rash that people say is caused by the amoxicillan? It only sometimes itches mildy and briefly at different places on the body but it goes away shortly. I have taken benadryl and it doesnt help just makes me sleepy. I srsly dont want to miss more school. DO i need ot notify my health care provider? OD i need more meds? H-E-L-P
