My Blood Pressure.... Posted: 04-28-07 04:15am
Is high, so my midwife has told me not to
do a lot all this week and go get it
checked by my other midwife to make sure i
don't have pre-eclampsia. *sigh* i was
hoping to be rearanging my room and
decorating this week btu i guess i'm gunna
have to put it on hold for a few weeks.
Sorry i don't think there will be any week
32 pics today because i'm feeling really
weak and light headed.

this might sound stupid but try music
relaxation.
find somewhere quiet and comfortable -
your bed, of couch for example.
A good place is in the bath with tepid
water and no bubbles (I'll explain more).
put on some chill out music on low volume
- do you have any nature cd's - whale song
or rain forest or something?
if you chose the bath, sink down quite low
then just gently flop the water around and
over your belly.
close out the rest of the world and just
think peace and tranquility.
First couple times can be a bit hard to
find the right thing for you but it's so
relaxing.
I did this when I was having the pains
with 0liver. I'd been prescribed
co-codamol, but I hate taking pain killers
most of the time and especially when I was
pregnant.
I could actually breathe away the pain,
lying in a warm bath, flopping the water
around gently and listening to quiet
music.
I think I spent more time in the bath in
that month than ever lol.

Thanks for the advice .Kia, i got straight
into the bath after i read that and oh god
it felt so good! I feel so much better
now, still a little weaker than usual i
have a feeling i might be anemic, i've
been told that it's alot easier to become
anemic when your a vegetarian. I called
the doctors today to book myself in to see
my other midwife to get my blood pressure
checked so i'll be off there tommorow at
4pm, i hope it's normal again because i
can't cope being locked up! I was naughty
and went out on saturday though I
went shopping with mum, dad and dom and
got the last few bits of newborn clothing,
i got a pink and teal fleece blanket, a
yellow top with a pink bunny on it, pack
of two pink joggers, pack of two pink
tops, pack of 10 bibs (for £3 ) and my parents
bought us a pack of two dalmation baby
gros. I'll take some pics soon so you can
all see! I tottaly regreted going out
after though i felt so ill and tired so
got straight into bed and got my dinner
bought up to me!
