I really want to have a baby and so does my bf. It seems as if the people that get pregnant the most are the ones that dont want a baby or dont deserve a baby because they just went out partying one night and got knocked up by someone. ..I see that happen alot and that crushes me b/c my bf and I try to have one all the time and I always have my period which causes fights between us b/c we both want one that bad.Someone please help...I dont know what to do...

Also what do u think about ovulex..isnt that supposed to be guarenteed?? I want to try it but I dont know if it is worth it..Does it really work like it says online??

Well, first of all. Nothing is guaranteed. TTC is emotional enough without getting a let down if a "guaranteed" treatment doesn't work.

What, other than unprotected sex, are you doing to improve your chances? Timing goes a long way. Are you timing your bd for your fertile time?

So sorry your going through so much.

I think you should start charting your bady temprature or use OPK, So that you will know your most fertile days & when you Ovulate . Hope that helped a little.

Good luck with ttc.

Vol mentioned two of the most popular methods, OPK and temping. You can also be aware of your cm changes before ovulation and the position and texture of your cervix. Since you are only fertile for a few days a month, these methods will help you time your bding to improve your chances. If you want more information, let me know. You can pm me if you want.

Prenatal vitamins are a good idea while you are ttc. I read somewhere that you can help prevent birth defects by taking the prenatal vitamins before getting pregnant. Apparently, a lot of spinal cord defects are determined before you even know you are pregnant, but they can be prevented by taking folic acid. Most, but not all, prenatal vitamins have enough folic acid for normal women and you should take more if you have a family history of spinal defects.

I have never tried ovulex. Some women on this forum have and some of them have become pregnant while on ovulex. Just know that it is not guaranteed and you still are unlikely to get pregnant if you don't bd when you are fertile whether you take ovulex or not. Some women have said that it helps regulate their cycles.

I know how you feel. When we started ttc, we were one of six couples that we knew or suspected of ttc. Four of them are now expecting. Plus, we also know of an unexpected pregnancy by someone who doesn't have a boyfriend and will be going on welfare after she has the baby so that she can finish college. We don't begrudge her any of the difficulties she faces, and we admire her for facing them head on. But, we waited until we were prepared emotionally, financially, etc. Now I feel like my biological clock is ticking while everyone around me gets pregnant.

Another peice of advice - try to find a goal or activity that is unrelated to ttc for your mental health. It helps a lot to have other things to think about. Because I'm goal oriented, setting and attaining goals outside of ttc helps me feel more in control.

Good luck though. I hope my input on Ovulex helped you out a little.
