has anyone ever expierenced the mumps or
know someone that had the mumps? What were
the syptoms? Are the symptoms the same for
everyone?
The medical symptoms on line have lists of
syptoms but my son does not have all of
them. But does have a lump that is hard,
painful and swollen. Yet when I took him
to the doctor she was positive that it was
not the mumps. That its a swoolen
lymphnode the only problem is with this
diagnosis, the doctor has no idea how he
could have gotten it. He had no symptoms
of a cold which is common, she says, of
how a swollen lymph node occures.
Anyways I am worried because he was
placed on antibiotics to help get rid of
it. He is on the 4th day and it has gotten
larger in size, more painful, and his
veins are starting to become very
apparent.
Anyones insight would be greatly
appreciated.
