If I understand you correctly, then I do not think it matters. They often say to start on Sunday, but I don't think you actually have to. Someone else in here can probably verify that though. Smile Next time, if you don't understand the person who is explaining it, ask questions or ask someone else! It's important stuff to know! Smile

Once you start the pills, you should be starting new packs on the same day of each week.

You do not change what day you start on once you're on the pills. It sounds like you've been starting on a different day of the week every month.

You can start the pill any day of the week, but that's the very first pack. Let's say you pick monday. You take the pills all month. I believe your pills may change color each week, so every monday you start a new color.

Eventually you get to the placebo/sugar pills. You need to take all of these pills, or, wait a full week before starting a new pack... and you need to start it on moday, just like you started the other pack.

You do not wait until your period ends and start a new pack then. Doing this especially if your period went past the next monay could very well make you succeptable to pregnancy. You do have to wait the full week of placebo pills, and then start a new pack on the same day you started the last pack - which in our example, is monday. Even if your period isn't over yet, you must start the new pack.

Let's say you start placebos on monday (because that's the day you started the pack) and your period is done on friday. You still have to wait until next monday to start a new pack.
