Q: How Soon to Retest?

I took a pregnancy test 3 days ago and it came up negative, but I don't want to rely solely on that result because I have still been feeling bloated and it was an off brand test. I was just wondering how soon I should retest and how likely a false negative was for the first time when it has been about 2 weeks since my missed period.

home pregnancy tests are pretty accurate, even the off brand kind. Once you missed your period, the tests should be as accurate as they are gona get. You can take another test when ever you want. If your still not confindent in the result you can eather go to your doctor and get a blood test, or go to a planned parenthood type place that does tests aswell.

Also, know that stress can delay your period.

hope i answered your questions.

hey I dont know if this helps but.. I thought I was pregnant cause my breasts seemed bigger & I had bloating & cramping.. Hadnt had my period .. So I went to the doctor and got a urine test & it came out negative. I tested 6 days later at home & the results came back positive. I think what happend is I drank to much water that day & could of been too soon. I say wait a week & see if you get your period, if not test again.
