I've just got my period and I noticed it's a different colour than it usually is, it's more a brown colour. It's also got like gloopy bits in, like thick stringy bits. Is this normal? I know it's been like this the past few times but I can't remember if it's always had those bits in or not!

i have had that texture before, i wouldnt worry about it, mybe if you start getting more pain than normal during your period, or if you lose more discharge than normal in between your periods then id say see your doctor to be on the safe side.
