Q: Black Growth Under Armpit

Tonight while in the shower I noticed a black growth protruding about 4 inches under my armpit. It is quite "flappy" to touch and only hurts when my arm rubs against it. I've added some photos of the area in question.
Does anyone have an idea as to what it is?
