Just curious about if anyone is hiring or worked with a doula during their pregnancy? I am thinking about hiring one but I'm not totally decided yet. I am planning to have my partner and my mom with me at the birth and they are both taking classes with me so I don't want it to be overkill. Still, I want to try to have a natural birth and it's my first time, so maybe it would be helpful. Anyone have any experiences or opinions to share?

The nurse that I had was *amazing*! She wasn't "techinically" a .doula, but she should become one!!

She had all 3 of her children drug free, and helped me soo much! She didn't argue with me when I refused everything, as I knew my rights.

I would *def* look into a doula!!! As your nurses could be cold hearted, or they could be like mine was.
It's a chance that you shouldn't take. GO for it!!
