My uncle has been diagnosed with disseminated prostate cancer in India. The cancer cells have spread to his lungs and liver. He is non-hypertensive, non-diabetic, with no other chronic illness. He has been advised prostate removal with testes removal with hormone therapy. The life expectancy has been given as 6 months to 1 year.
I would like to know, have any Indians gone to USA for treatment of prostate cancer? If, yes, then to which center? how much is app. the cost of treatment and duration of stay? We want to take a quick decision on his treatment options.
