This is going to be a strange post... but here goes.

My bf called me complaining that his stomach hurt and he felt very nauseous. He tried to sleep, couldn't, took a bath and felt more sick, went to bed and finally slept. Next day, went to work for about 5 minutes and couldn't work because the pain in his stomach was so bad. Went to the ER, did a catscan of his stomach area, took blood, all the normal stuff. Told him nothing was wrong with him and they didn't know why it hurt, maybe he had an irritated intestine told him to eat soft foods and wait a few days. 2 days later, he wakes up with a rash covering his inner right thigh and wrapping around the front of his thigh to where his butt cheek starts. This patch is from about 3 inches above the knee all the way up to his hip. He also has a circular patch of about 2-3 inches in diameter on his chest. Went to the Dr. and they tested him for strep and put him on Amoxicilin. Strep came back negative, meds aren't helping, the pain in his stomach is gone but the rash remains... The one on his thigh is a deep, brownish, purplish red color, and the one on his chest is pale pink. The doctors have no idea what it is. Does ANYONE have an idea of what it may be???? Plz let me know. Thanks.
