I have just come home from a spell in the Accident And Emergency centre because I thought I was having a heart attack. It turns out I have reflux problems, probably. I am going to the doctors tomorrow. Have others had severe chest pain with Acid Reflux?

Yes. I have had pain with acid reflux. But it's a good thing you had it checked out.. Did your doctor recommend anything for you or give you anything? Good Luck..

Thanks. The hospital gave me 30mg capsules of Lansoprazole. I have taken 2 so far. Not having pain any more but chest feels very strange. I haven't been told how long to take them for. Today the doctor gave me a further supply to have in for emergencies, but he didn't really answer my question about when to stop taking them.
