Well my four year old son has had these "lumps" on his tonsils, they are about the size of a skittle. they dont hurt or bother him and HE IS NOT SICK! he is as normal and playful and active as ever! ENT says tonsils have to come out and be biopsied even thou he has never had a sore throat or strep or anything, so i took him for blood work and it shows he has epstein barr virus. now the ENT doesnt want to do the surgery because of this virus. i can not get anyone to help me or give me information on this virus except mono. well i am pretty much ruling that out since he is NOT SICK OR TIRED OR ANYTHING except his tonsils have lumps on them, they themselves arent swollen. please help me !
