Q: Dried Blood?

First time posting, just looking for an answer/info.

Once in a while after I use the restroom and wipe, there will be a small amount of dried blood on the tissue paper. This is actually only after I wipe a little "harder", and its honestly hardly any blood at all, just a couple spots. It's also after I use the bathroom and think I have to go, but then not really go. To wipe is just sort of something to do afterwards even if you didn't use the bathroom, just to make it clean. So its never actually when I poo, but when I think I have to but don't. Could it just be dry skin and I'm wiping too hard?

Is this something to worry about?

RE: Dried blood after wiping
It is possible that you have an internal hemorrhoid or mild perianal hematoma though they normally only last a few days. If the sensation of having to defecate without actually eliminating feces continues it is important to consult a physician for further examination. Dried blood without other digestive symptoms may not be problematic though the fact that it is dried indicates it may originate higher in the digestive tract. This could be caused by many things the most severe of course being cancer. Fresh blood is excreted and does not have time to dry when it is lower in the intestinal tract. Please examine your other symptoms and seek further guidance. Try using an adult moist wipe to ensure cleanliness but not wipe as vigorously.
