Ed Problem Please Help
Posted: 04-23-07 17:30pm

hello i am 22 years old and i am having a really hard time echeving an erection , i no longer get and erection in the morning and for as long as i can remeber i have allways had one in the morning i have never had intercourse with another person , i have only masturbated once to twice daly for about 13 years now and up till about 6 months ago i still had very strong erections and sence then it been so hard to even get one peirod. i realy got to consentrate and be looking at some kind of porn and i might get one but it only last about a min then it goes away and then i am inbetween hard and soft and then it gets really hard again at the end when i am ready to orgasim it will stay hard at that point so if i keep holding back at orgasim it will stay hard intill i do orgasim

now i would like to menchen that i am adickded to vicodin
5 - 750mg per day "pain pill" and have been taking them for allmost 2 years now and the only thing i noticed sence starting taking them is it would take me longer to reach orgasim ontill 6 months ago when the erection problem started

also i am a smoker i smoke 2 packs a day and i dont eat very healthy
but i am not fat i am 6' 200lbs just a tad over weight and i drink alot of caffine

so now my ? is do youguys think its the vicodin causing my problem i have heard of this problem with others but they take alot more than me they were taking around 15 - 750mg per day i only take 5 per day

when you go to a doctor about erection difficulties, the first thing they'll want to find out is whether the problem is physical or psychological. they ask you 'do you get morning erections, and can you masturbate ok by yourself?' if the answer is yes, they conclude it is not physical, but psychological (ie caused by anxiety/stress/etc.)

if you are not getting morning erections and not able to get hard ons from watching porn, then it sounds highly likely that your problem is in fact physical.

you don't mention what you take vicodin for..? i don't know what effects vicodin can have on a man's sexual responses... i have no idea. you'll have to ask a doctor about that one.

however i do know that smoking is a tremendously bad idea if you want a healthy sex life, or indeed a healthy life in general. do you realise that smoking is the leading cause of male impotence?

there are also vitamins and minerals that are neccessary for a healthy sex life. not sure what they all are. zinc is one of them. but if you are eating rubbish all the time, then perhaps you are not getting the correct balance of nutrients that your body needs.

you ought to see a doctor. but the only way to find out what is at the root of your problem is to rule out things by process of elimination. naturally this is gonna involve you kicking your smoking habit. sorry. it's just gotta be said.

What exactly are you using vicodin for?
now, I know that smoking and caffiene has no part in this erectile dysfunction. I'm more than sure that any amount vicodin does cause premature ejaculation and from what I've heard reduces the precentage of erections. Vicodin does for sure descrease sex drive. And to agree with fiona, erectile dysfunction can be cause by psychological or physiological manner.

vicodin is a bad drug to be addicted to, especially when there is no pain for it to broaden. since there is no pain, the vicodin is working at other things in your body and shutting them down. I realize it's hard to go cold turkey...but vicodin is the key to this problem. As well as smoking is the key to the whole issue. I advise you to quit both. yes yes yes, "it's easier said than done"...don't let that become an excuse.
