Hi all,

My wife was diagnosed that her Mitral valve gets narrowed severely. She had a cough continuously. Since it is little severe , doctors suggested to do Balloon valvuloplasty to make the narrowed valve bigger. So she under gone this a week back. The procedure was successful .

But she is still having a cough ( but not like before - very severe ). The cough will be going slowly in one or 2 weeks ? My worry is they did not fix the valve properly or she is having some other problem to get the cough again ( meaning synos or asthma ) .. but she did not have asthma ot synos before.

Please help me on this .. i am worried.

Thanks.
