Q: Shooting Pain, Right / Left Fron Side of Head

I get a shooting pain on both the rhs and lhs of my head 3/4 inches above a line drawn from my ear to my temple. It stays for around 2/3 mins and then disappears. It occurs around 1 / 2 times per day at no set interval. I have not changed my diet in the three weeks that this has been occurring for. Has anyone experienced any similar pain or any ideas what could cause it?

Re: Shooting Pain, Right / Left Fron Side of Head
Hi there
You have exactly what i have suffered from for 2 years on and off. I used to get sharp stabbing pains on the left handside above my ears, mainly left side, ocassionally right. This has lessone significantly over time. I can confidently say to you to go and see a physio therapist. I actually finally did this and found out that it was all assocated with my spine and was experiencing cervical headaches. So i have to watch my posture, strength my neck muscles and shoulder muscles. This could possibly be what is happening with you. Well worth a try.

Linda
