If you are already late for your period you should get an accurate result if you test now.

kind of hopeing for a negative, im a senior in high school on my way to college in a few months.......

im just confused b/c i kno im starting b/c i have brown discharge right before im a bout to start..usually by the end of that day or the day after im bleeding..but its been almost 4 days now so thats why im wondering if i might be pregnant b/c i had the discharge but it was gone by the next day...an i still havent started

Yeah, I would definitely test if I were you. You should not count that discharge as your period. Some woman get that discharge and it is chalked up to being implantation bleeding. But that is not always the case. Just trying to prepare you.

Even though you are late already and it really shouldn't matter. I still suggest that when you take the test you take it first thing in the morning with your fmu (first morning urine). This is not necessary. Just a suggestion.

Did you have unprotected sex?

So I should go ahead an take it? I was thinkn maybe waitin a few more days to see if i start. But yes here recently i have had unprotected sex 2 or 3 times since my last period.
I just dont know if im being paranoid...i just thought it was wierd that that happened but i never started.

Yes, you should definitely go ahead and test. You could be pregnant.

Thank u for the advice. i went to the doctor yesterday morning an come to fnd out im 5 wks pregnant. I told my mom an the daddy so everything is ok i guess.. still a little freaked out. Thanks again
