I'm really sorry to post this weird/gross question, but I have a lump on my butt that is bothering me... it has been there for a long time, I cannot remember when it started. I have had anal sex in the past, with bleeding... but this is some years ago. I am a 25 years old, female. What is this tumor thing on my butt? I am so sorry for the gross pictures... but I just won't talk to my doc about this... and it makes me self concious... could I make it go away somehow? PS it does not hurt, and it becomes more pronounced after I have had a bowel movement. Thanks.

please do not post naked photos! this is against forum rules.

it looks like you have hemmoroids (piles) your pharmacy should be able to give you some cream or a pessary for them.

yeah those are hemorrhoids. not the most attractive of things, but rest assured a lot of people have them - they are very common. i have them. only mine are only really visible when i bear down.

once you've got them you've pretty much got them for life. unless you have some kind of surgery. but this is really unneccessary unless they cause you extreme irritation and pain. a lot of people find they are really itchy. i don't. they don't cause me any problems. as long as they cause you no problems either it's fine. just gotta learn to live with it i guess!

there is further info here:

the links work perfectly fine. even if you were to type the whole url in capital letters, the browser automatically reduces them all to lower case. Wink

so I'll be the third person to say they're hemorroids. hemorroids are not STDs. usually hemorroids are caused by strains while having a bowel moving or more commonly, it's caused by anal sex.

The problem occurs with file extensions. things like .html or .php will not work capitalized.

Please do not show us nude photos. If you are comfortable showing all of that nudity to dozens of strangers on the internet, then you should certainly be able to show it to your doctor. It might be embarrassing, but that's part of being an adult. It certainly might be hemorrhoids, but I would ask a doctor just in case.

exactly.

surprisingly, I actually found out I had a hemorraoid this afternoon. ...straining during a bowel movement isn't worth it; which I didn't know during my childhood. Rolling Eyes
