WARNING COULD BE TMI

Is it normal to have a period that lasts for not even one day. I mean we did have sex using condoms on my fertile days.. but we started without them. And i know that he precums alot before he cums and before he puts the condom on. and one night i was drunk and i do not know if he even used protection cause i calculated and my fertile days with a 31 day cycle was around the second or third of april.. but the bleeding was on april 14 and my last "normal" period was march 14 and normally it is like a day before the last day so say if it was a 14 it would have been the 13 but that is the only bleeding that i have had...

Unfortunately, if you are using no other form of protection, and you start sex before putting on the condom, you have a high chance of being pregnant. I'd get a test.

The average period is about three to five days. You can get pregnant any time you have sex, but obviously not using protection or not using protection as intended will increase your chances. You'll have to test and be more careful in the future.

to reitterate what the others have said...

yes women have so called 'fertile days', but the truth is you can get pregnant during any time of your cycle. it seems that one or both of you is not keen on using condoms. if you are in a long term relationship, perhaps you should consider going on the pill, or an alternative form of contraception.

from the information you have given, it is likely that you are pregnant. however, periods can be knocked off schedule by a number of factors, stress being one of them. nonetheless, you won't know until you take a test. i urge you to do so as soon as possible.

the sooner you know you are pregnant, the more time you have to deal with it.

on the other hand, the sooner you find out you aren't pregnant at all, the sooner you will have the worry off your chest!

let us know what the test says.
