I have missed my period for the last three months. I have taken many hpt and even went to the doctor and she said I wasnt pregnant. She said it was probably stress. She prescribed Provera to start my cyle so I can get back on birthcontrol. She had me taking it for 10 days. Well I have taken it all and still have not started. She assured me I would...Has anyone taken this before that can help me with a few questions...is it possible I am pregnant, or does it take longer than the 10 days, or could something else be wrong? Any information would be appreciated.

I have never been on provera so I don't know. I do know, however, that there are many reasons why someone would miss their period. Stress, weight loss, etc.

Did the doctor do a pregnancy test? It sounds like you are not on birth control now, so of course if you have been having sex you could be pregnant. But if the doc did a test I would trust the results. And if you have been pregnant for three months, the doc would definately be able to tell easily without much doubt.
