Q: What Is This Particular Symptom?

Off and on over the years, I have had episodes lasting between several days to an entire week where I will experience severe brain fog along with anxiety and a general "dazed", stuporish feeling in my head. I've also taken various Quinolones over the years so perhaps there is some sort of connection.

This time around though, I am getting these strange "waves" of sensations in my head that are very difficult to describe. It's sort of like a "rush" of adrenalin that shoots through my brain but different from a "brain zap" or "brain shock" (more like my brain feels like it's being slowly pickled). My head/brain/eyes also feel kind of warm. Anyway, when I have these "waves", I have a mild to moderate panic attack afterwards because obviously it's quite scary.

My history:

* Chronic sinusitis
* Allergic rhinitis
* OCD (Obsessive-compulsive Disorder)
* Tourette's
* Hypochondria
* GERD (Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease)
* Attention-deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
* Panic Attacks

Meds I'm on:

* Ativan (1-2 mg per day)
* Atentolol (25mg per day)
* Prevacid (taken when needed)

I chew tobacco, drink about once a week, 44 year old male, straight, I tend to run an intermittent low-grade fever (99 ) because of my sinusitis, etc, etc, etc.

I guess that's about all I can say. I am miserable right now and over the years I have had enough tests to fill a 24 room mansion.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?.

Does it feel like drops of water running down your head or scalp? Is it on both sides? or anywhere in particular?
