before but it was from a one night stand.
I have been with my significant other for
a year and a half he is 31 and has 3
children and had his last child in
November but I have never been pregnant by
him why is that if we are both

Even if you WERE fertile in the past, this
doesn’t necessarily mean that you are
fertile at the present. The same stands
for your partner, too. Given that you had
an abortion in the past, it is possible
that the procedure could cause the
sterility you experience now. Before
abortions are performed, clinics are bound
to inform patients that one of the
possible consequences from an abortion
could be sterility. An infection after an
abortion can disturb the conductibility of
the oviducts, or uterine tubes. You can
immediately consult a gynecologist about
this. The doctor can check to see if your
uterus (and especially the tubes) are
conductible, or not. A
hystero-salpingo-graphy (HSG) and
laparoscopy with hysteroscopy are
necessary for this diagnosis. Meanwhile,
your partner can perform a spermogram and
functional sperm tests as diagnostic
procedures to check for possible
sterility.
