Rolling Eyes I am a young lady and last summer in June i lost my virginity to a sex toy. It was for external use only . I bled very little. It didnt hurt much because i had it on vibrate. The sex toy was not big at all and it was slightly bigger than a hot dog (lol). I would like to know if my boyfriend would be able to tell if i am a virgin. And if my hymen is torn or just stretched! Please tell me any thing else you think i need to know! help

If you haven't had sex with another person, you are still a virgin. Breaking your hymen doesn't mean you're not a virgin, it just means you've broken your hymen. Masturbating with a sex toy doesn't mean you're not a virgin. Until you have sex with a person, you're a virgin. Wink

As far as your boyfriend being able to tell, I don't think he would know one way or another. I wouldn't worry about that at all.

I hope this helps!

Yes this is true!
Unless you have had sex with a living, breathing person, then you are in fact still a virgin!

That's exactly true!!

Many young women either don't have hymens or had ones broken before sex.

To reiterate what others have said, you can never lose your virginity to yourself or to a toy. If you have not had sex with another person, then you are still a virgin.

Your future partner will not be able to tell if you have had sex or masturbated. Masturbation and sex don't really change your body.

As for hymens, most girls break them long before they ever have sex anyway. Most hymens are broken in childhood or early puberty due to masturbation, tampons, or running and jumping. It often does not hurt or bleed when the hymen tears, so some girls have no idea when it actually happened. That's ok though. The hymen does not actually do anything. It is just a piece of skin that is leftover from when you were still developing in the womb. Hymens have nothing to do with virginity. Like I said, most girls tear them when they are still virgins. On the other hand, a few women have really tough hymens that don't tear at all, even after they have had sex. Some girls are also born without one.
