Q: Seriously Need Help Or Suggestions, Blackouts Causing Deaths

I'll try to keep this as short as possible. Basically, my family seems to have some kind of problem with black outs and dizziness. My mom was burning leaves in the backyard a few years back, blacked out, fell into the fire, and died. A year later, my grandpa was on his tractor and ran over a stump that was very easy to see (and he had already gone past it twice so he knew it was there), flipped the tractor, and burned to death. I understand that accidents happen but these incidents made my uncle (my mom's younger brother) remember that as a kid, he had an episode when he was about 7 or 8 years old where he suddenly blacked out while sitting in a chair at the table. He has also blacked out while riding in a vehicle, after feeling incredible pain in his side. Now my little brother told me today that he was standing outside a few days ago and blacked out. He woke up later, remembered having a dream, and he was laying on the ground about 15 feet from where he remembered being before the blackout. He said that he was very nauseous for about ten minutes afterwards and then was fine. Myself, I've had dizzy spells for about 7 months now, and sometimes they are so bad that I am on the verge of collapsing, but have not done so yet. My dizzy spells come and go but everyone else seems to just black out with no other indication, although there is no way to know if my mom or grandpa had an indicator before their accidents.

My uncle has had scans done and has had blood work done, and there never was anything found in the test results. I have had blood work done and am very healthy. Actually, the ironic part is that my entire family is very healthy. My great grandparents from my mom's side of the family lived to be about 100 and were in excellent health, never requiring a nursing home or in-home care. My grandpa was in his late 60's when he died on the tractor, but seeing him, you would think he was in his 50's. He was in excellent shape.

My concern at this point is obviously that I have already lost two people in my family to accidents that we cannot explain, and I am scared for the few of us that are left. I don't know if there is a type of disease or disorder that is hereditary that would explain what is going on with us, but so far, tests have done absolutely nothing. My uncle is 30, I'm 24, and my brother is 18. I want all of us to live long lives but it seems that the odds are against us if we can't figure out what is going on.

None of us, including my grandpa and mom, are or were on any medication. Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions anybody can provide. I don't know what to do or where to go from here.

Extremely eHealthy
Have your doctors looked into the possibility of epilepsy? Have you or your brother been to a neurologist with these complaints?
