Q: Birth Control Pills

my daughter was taking YAZ for two months, and now the doctor is switching her to YASMIN - for insurance reasons. Is there any difference in the two?

Extremely eHealthy

Yaz and Yasmin have the same estrogen and progestin, BUT, Yasmin has a slightly higher dose of estrogen than Yaz does.

Yasmin also has a normal 7 day placebo week, whereas Yaz has a shorter week.
