asked by: DoctorQuestion on April 19th, 2007
I AM HAVING A STRANGE SEXUAL PROBLEM. I AM 45 YRS OLD AND FEEL FINE, HOWEVER I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING LACK OF FEELING TO THE GLANS OF THE PENIS . THIS IS NOT A JOKE. EVERYBODY TALKS ABOUT THE INABILITY TO GET AN ERECTION . THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM OF MINE.I AM ERECT WITH NEARLY NO DEEP FEELING OR TINGLE DOWN THERE.WHAT ARE THE MAIN CAUSES OF THIS?

The head of the penis (glans penis) is normally less sensitive at its top and more sensitive at its base. If your erection and ejaculation are functionally alright, it seems that there is nothing to worry about.
