If you have reason to believe it's important for him to be there, then only you can make that decision. Were you guys trying for a baby? I am assuming you weren't since you said ex boyfriend. That is my reason for you testing before telling him. I thought it might make the process easier.

It sounds to me that you don't want to go through this alone. Do you have a close friend or family member that you could tell to help you through this? I completely understand how scary this is and not wanting to go through it alone. I am going through the same thing.. I don't know if I am pregnant or not but I haven't told my boyfriend because I don't want to worry him. I have told only a very close friend and talked to others on this forum. Best of luck to you.
