How Important Are the Sugar Pills Posted: 04-18-07 20:19pm
just wondering if it matters when the
sugar pills are taken. normally i take my
hormonal pills (for 21 days) at the same
time in the morning...but does it even
matter if the sugar pills are taken..?
when i know im on the sugar pills i tend
to think about it less (knowing i will get
my period soon) and ive almost forgot to
take them. knowing that they are placebo i
believe i shouldnt be worried about them
but im new at birth control and just
wanted to check in

You don't actually have to take the sugar
pills at all. They do not do anything
medicinal. They are only there to make
sure you remember to take a pill every
day. I don't take them, because I can
remember.

I never take my sugar pill either. I am a
sunday starter so its easy to remember to
start the new pack. I also set an alarm on
my phone to go off on that day, just in
case. It also goes off every evening at
the same time.

yeah i dont take the sugar pills
either.and i remember to take my pill
everyday and start a new pack because i
too set my alram on my phone to remind me.
and my boyfriend checks to make sure i
havent missed any either!
