Hi, I had bleeding last year when I was 7 weeks with my 4th pregnancy. I was terrified because I had never had this before. The Dr. Said that there was a small tear called a subcoreonic hemmorage, which means the placenta was pulling slightly away from the uterine wall. This tear caused the bleeding. Get your feet up and rest!!! They couldn't promise me that the pregnancy would continue, and I was devastated. I stayed off my feet, no lifting no lifting, no nothing for 2 weeks. There was still blood after a week but it was old blood. I can understand your fear and helplessness. It is so terrifying, but relax and I know this sounds crazy but try really hard not to stress yourself out. Take all the extra help you can get right now, anyone who offers.
The bleeding stopped for me after the 2 weeks, but I was on pins and needles the whole pregnancy, it was the hardest pregnancy of my life. My son was born on may 7th, and he is perfect. But no one ever told me that bleeding in pregnancy is quite commom, my Dr. Quoted 1 in 4 pregnancies experience bleeding. And not all bleeding results in miscarriage. I didn't know that until my experience. I hope this has helped a bit, though I know how very terrified you are. Please feel free to email me if you want to talk.
Sincerely,
kim
