To know if your tubes have been tied or not, you can request a hystero-salpingo-graphy (HSG) or a laparoscopy with a hysteroscopy. HSG is a contrast X-ray procedure. Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy are endoscopic procedures. Laparoscopy can also discover if sterilization (tied tubes) has occurred, or not.
