Hi everyone!
I am a sophomore in college and tonight when I came in my room, my roomate said she had the stomach flu... yuck! She is at home now recovering from throwing up, but I guess some other students have had this and some have had it so bad they have been hospitalized. Is it really that serious?

Also, I become quite scared/paranoid with people throwing up,etc. I just can't handle it! Anyway, since i'm her roomate and don't want to get it myself I lysoled everything she could have possibly touched like door knobs, faucet handles, toilet handle, cleaned off the toilet, etc. What are the odds of me getting this stomach flu since I do live with her, but do not touch her, but touch the same things she does? Do you think I am protected if I keep washing my hands and Lysoling everything?

Thanks! PLEASE let me know!
