Hello Everyone,

Hello, My name is Mallory and I am new to this site and to the whole pregnancy thing.. I was wondering a few things if anyone could help me out I would really like that.. I am in my 9 month of my pregnancy and for some reason I have been feeling a lot of pressure on my bladder and my legs.. I have been walking to break my water and I went to the doctors to see what was going on and he did an internal and told me I was still closed but I have been have a lot of cramping and contractions.. I do not know what to do can anyone help?? PLEASE

The pressure is probably from the baby dropping. As the baby's head engages, your cervix will begin to thin (efface) and open (dilate). Keep walking as much as you're able - this will help keep things moving along.

walking wont break your water, it will just help you during labor and after losing the weight

that is just an old wives tale, and dont walk one foot on a curb one not, it will kill your back and hips (i know someone who did that lol)

anyway some people go 2 weeks over their due date, im sure your fine, and like laura said the presure is probably because the baby dropped or somthing, which will help you dialte and efface
