Milk?

Ok, so .oni turnes a year on the
22nd(this .sun)!!!!
Well, I've been letting her have sips of
milk, to see if she'd like it.
So today, with her breakfast, I gave her
whole milk, instead of formula. When lunch
time rolled around, I gave her her
formula. SHe took 2 sips and threw it. She
was totally not interested in it!! At
alll!!!
I pretended to drink it (usually works),
and she took about 3 more sips and wasn't
interested.
I gave her some regular milk, and she
suuuucked it down!! with the quickness!!!
I've been giving her her formula ice cold
for a long time now, so giving her her
formula cold isn't an option. As it's been
done...
SO, my question is, should I just let her
have it? I mean, I was concerned she
wouldn't like it, because of all the
stories I've heard on here, and I was
*totally* wrong!! SHe *loves* it!

I wouldn't be too concerned about giving
her whole milk now if she likes it..she'll
be a year old in just a few days. As i
recall, one of my kids switched to whole
milk at 10 mos. old and all has been fine
that way

I don't see how 5 days would hurt
anything. She's taken so well to new foods
and all....I think she'll be fine.
Especially since she likes it, and she
eats table foods anways and not relying on
just milk/formula for nutrients

Maybe try mixing it 1/2 and 1/2 with the
formula. Since she'e had it and it isn't
causing her any problems, why not?
I'm sure others with have opposing
opinions.
She is a doll!

That's what I'm thinking too!
Cindy, I'll try mixing the formula, just
so it doesn't go to waste. But, I look at
it like, what's 5 days???

I voted for "yea I would" when I meant to
vote for the other one.. I re-worded the
question in my head and "yes" seemed like
the right answer
Yeah I'm a lil retarded.
Anyway... yeah I'd give her the whole milk
now, especially as she seems to like it so
much! They used to say babies could have
it at 6 months, so that's when I was given
it.. and then they changed it to 12
months. But 5 days really isn't gunna make
a difference!

just make sure she is eating
healthy...because milk doesnt contain
enough nutrients in itself. thats why im
keeping Trace on formula for at least
15-18 months, cause he doesnt eat to the
point where he can get all his nutients
from solids.

She eats *great*! SHe looooves *all* of
her veggies!! Especially beets! lol..weird
I know!
But her veggie intake is amazing. And
they're 95% fresh 5% canned(low/no
sodium-I'm a freak when it comes to
reading labels)
She gets major nutrient intake as she eats
cheese, veggies, fruits, eggs, etc.
Michelle, you're avatar looooks
goooood!!!

Is this just a random warning?
Have we got the .Kia-bot on shift today
with random commands...?
"Stay...on...topic..."
"Do...not...swear..."
"Bring...me...naked...men..."

Sarah, I would just give her the moo juice
- my son started on it around the same
time as .Oni and he's had no problems, I
can't see how a few days are going to make
any difference.
