Especially eHealthy
i have sciatica Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad vaccuming the floor and picking up the kids is agony. even when i sit down i get sharp shooting pains in my left lower back and butt cheek.

doctor says i'm really young to get it and that i can't lift anything heavy (haha- layla weighs about 30lbs!) it's hard to get comforable on night cause it's so painful.

my gp seems to think it will get better on it's own. he gave me painkillers and told me to come back in a fortnight if it's no better Rolling Eyes

Extremely eHealthy
I have had it since I was a teenager.

Try to sit with the leg/bum that is bothering you elevated. It won't eliminate the problem, but it will help.

I know loads of younger people who get sciatica.
it sucks and is super painful but it does normally improve on it's own.
it's irritation of the sciatic nerve and sadly the best treatment for it is moving about - and that hurts
