Help!!! I have been on Ortho tri cyclen low for over 9 months now and i can't stop bleeding!! The first 3 months i bled almost everyday and even now i start bleeding on the first day of my dark blue pills and don't stop until after all of my sugar pills are gone. last month it didn't stop for over 2 weeks i was already on a new pack! What can i do??? if i switch pills am i going to have a horrible "first three" months on a new brand of pills?

You need to talk to your doctor about this so the two of you can find out what about ortho lo is causing this effect in you.

Every pill will affect you differently, so we cannot say if a new pill will cause 3 months of side effects or not.

I agree with Eiri. Need to see a Dr and find out whats happening with your body. May be something that can be easily fixed.

Thanks Ladies!
I saw my doc and he said tri-cyclen wasn't strong enough for me. I started taking the new BCP yesterday. I am still currently bleeding... i think day 12... but it looks like it might FINALLY be comming to an end!!!
I wanna thank both of you so much for the reply and for anybody who is on Tri Cyclen and having the same problems i got switched to Mini-Ovral 21 day pack. The side effects are still low so it was the best option for me!
